Tai Chi

Tuesday & Wednesday 11am
Friday 11am (from the 20th March)

This class is perfect if you are new to tai chi and would like to give it a try.

Tai chi combines deep breathing and relaxation with flowing movement.

This health promoting exercise is a great way to reduce stress, improve posture, balance and fitness.

Why practice tai chi? Tai chi is a whole body exercise that focuses on stretching and strengthening the body

Tai chi is an excellent way to increase relaxation.  These slow and graceful exercises have a way of relaxing the body and calming the mind.

Fit for Life

Tuesday 4.00 – 5.30pm

Would you like to improve your health and wellbeing? Lose weight? Exercise more?

Why not join our friendly Fit for Life programme?

Fit for Life is a group session for up to 10 people, you will be weighed and measured in private each week, receive a weekly group talk from the fit for life team followed by a 30 minute exercise session.

Beginners yoga class

Have you always wondered what yoga is all about?  Come and give it a try at our introduction to yoga class.

This introduction class will teach you about correct postures, breathing techniques.  Yoga has many benefits, including strenghthening and toning your body, increases flexibility and also helps to relieve stress and anxiety through relaxation.

Wear comfortable clothing.  We have everything else you need.

Fat Burning Class

Thursday 4.30-5.00pm  
Friday 3.00-4.00pm (from the 16th March)

A full body aerobic workout including circuits and dumbbells

Designed to help you burn fat and build fitness

Relaxing Movement Class

Tuesday 2.00-3.00pm (from the 25th February)

This class will help you to release unnecessary tension, improve your mobility, and help with positive thinking. The gentle, mindful, slow movements are pleasurable and easy to do.  The class is accessible for all ages and abilities who are able to lie on the floor, though some of the classes will be chair-based.

This class can help to ease sleep issues, decrease anxiety, alleviate stress and also reduce chronic pain.
