Please come along to one of these public meetings to see the shortlisted design concepts (which indicate the type of design but will be modified acording to feedback received) for the Play Builder play space on a small section of The Racecourse.

Tuesday 20th October anytime between 7.30pm -9.30pm at The Lime Trees Hotel, 8 Langham Place, Barrack Rd. and on Wednesday 21st October at The Picturedrome, 222 Kettering Rd. anytime between 4pm – 7.45pm. Local people are encouraged to attend and to be involved in choosing the preferred designs and play company.

There will be additional consultation taking place on The Racecourse itself the following week and students at Unity College, Castle Primary School, Stimpson Ave. Primary School & Fairfields School have all been given the opportunity to see the designs and give their opinions.

The feedback will be collated and analysed and the preferred play company will then be awarded the contract on Octoer 30th with work undertaken in the new year to be completed by April 2010.
